Ironies and Observations

memorial

Ironies with wise observations:

“If we lie to Congress, it’s a felony; if Congress lies to us, it’s just politics.”

“‘The Land of Opportunity'” is now “‘The Land of Handouts'”.

“The Government spends millions to house, care for and rehabilitate criminals but do nearly nothing for the victims or for our veterans.”

“The Government is unwilling to close our border with Mexico but have no problem protecting the 38th Parallel in Korea.”

We are in trouble, folks.

  1. I also will give an Amen.
But we need to lift our goverment up in prayer and pray that they will put God first again. Then and only then will they do what is right for the people.

  2. Indeed you are in trouble, so are we in Canada but in a different way. But life goes on. Luckily we can’t look back and get some solace from our ancestors.
Thanks for letting this out. At least we can say it out loud.

    1. trouble doesn’t even come close… Time to move to Scotland for me, and Ireland for you Chatter Master! 😉 or better yet, as I believe, look up – Jesus is coming soon!

  3. All very valid, but this one pains me the greatest: “The Government spends millions to house, care for and rehabilitate criminals but do nearly nothing for the victims or for our veterans.”

    1. …and it will continue… Sad. Real sad. Prisons should go back to the “old” days where hard labor was hard labor. And money should go to our military and veterans – especially those wounded in any fashion – instead of to illegal alien rights and welfare.
