Relearning why socialism doesn’t work

  1. If only it were that simple! The problem is human frailty, and that exists in both the Capitalist and Socialist model. In common ownership, the weak are inclined to take without contribution, in the Capitalist system the greedy leech from the weak and take more than their share. The primary instinct of our species is self-interest, and so far we don’t seem to have evolved to a point where we have an answer other than a ‘balance of power’, and the issue with that is in interpretation of the phrase. As an outsider, I actually believe capitalism is beginning to work against America and her image in the world.

  2. Everything alright, Koji? I hope you and the children are okay – it’s been quite a while since you’ve been around Blog-town. (about a month).
