At this day and moment in 1945, the bomb exploded 1,900 feet above Hiroshima.
I earnestly pray for an even better tomorrow.

I pray with you Mustang.Koji.
Thank you so much, Chatter Master. That means a great deal to me… Indeed.
You’re welcome, maybe if more of us prayed for this….
I also pray with you my friend. Let us never forget!
It is appreciated, notsofancynancy. Yes, let us not only not forget but hopefully, a few more people will do the same reading your blog.
Reading your short post, I immediately flash to visions tucked away in my head, of that day. My eyes fill with tears… HUG.
Thank you, seapunk2. Let us hope for peace in tge future – especially in light of the terror in Wisconsin today…
Great Post, without reminders our past will drift off to gray areas of forgetfulness, thanks for the reminder……
Thank you, morningstoryanddilbert. While we wish to remember of their sacrifices – world-wide – we must be alert to extremes…like what happened in Wisconsin yesterday. That same ugliness led to my father’s family being imprisoned here in the States during the war although they were citizens.
Hard to press ‘like’ sometimes. I do not want to like what happened, but I do want to like a better tomorrow. Or even today.
Thank you for your heartfelt thoughts, shemangerherd. Much appreciated.
Respect. More people should remember.
Jeffsspong, I fully agree.
Oh don’t I wish and pray for the same thing! It’s incredibly sobering. Debra
I’m sure we all do… Ever watch that old B&W sci-fi classic, “The Day the Earth Stood Still”? Perhaps having a flying saucer landing will get this world together.
That is my prayer too. Today my thoughts went to you and your father and his family – like Nancy said, let us not forget. ~Peace~ such a lovely word. Blessings, Patty
It is a lovely word, Patty, isn’t it? Whether it be individually or globally… Thank you for your kind thoughts.
Yes, let us not forget. Thank you.
Thank you, sir, for remembering!
