At least the little fella is around. I haven’t seen one since I was upstate NY, oh about 50 years ago.
Great shots and I love some of the titles you gave to some of them, such as “Dream” and “Navigating through a Dream.” Well done, Koji. Reply
What is the word ‘just’ doing in the title? Some stunning, close-up shots of really fast-moving and beautiful creatures, would be nearer the mark. Reply
What stunning photos! To be able to take them in yours or your neighbours place is incredible! I’m lucky if I get a butterfly! Reply
Dear Koji, with your brilliant photos there is no such thing as “just” some photos! I especially love all the hummingbird pics but that Navigating Through a Dream is stunning! Reply
The Hummingbird shots are taken at my neighbor’s yard. I sit on my driveway and hope they come by. The hummingbirds are about 5-1/2′ away… Thank you! Reply
oh wow this is all on your yard?? I’m envious! 🙂
Nope! The hummingbirds come to the aloe plant on my neighbor’s side of the driveway… 😉
Ah, Nice to have welcoming neighbors to capture these then! heh! 😀
And what a lovely front yard it must be!!

Shucks, thanks Russ!

That’s real kind of you to say that, Hilary!
I hope you realise how lucky you are!! What wonderful creatures!!
I’m lucky I have a great neighbor who has a green thumb!
The hummingbirds are amazing! 🙂
They are real quick but pretty!
“Just” some “snapshots”? I humbly disagree kind Sir! 🙂
You’re very kind, Ibara-san!
How do you get them to pose like that?
I tell them I’m shooting for Field & Stream! Works everytime!
What stunning photos! To be able to take them in yours or your neighbours place is incredible! I’m lucky if I get a butterfly!
Thanks! But we’d be lucky if it rains at all!
We get plenty of that!
Lovely.

Looks wonderful! Everything is still dormant around here and I finally made a post!
