I was 19 when I voted for the first time and President Reagan was the person I voted for. Back then, newly married I had other things on my mind and did not really know too much about him. But through his terms and today as I look back, I have learned what type of person Pres Reagan was and I am proud to say I voted for such a person. He truly cared for this nation and all of us. Sadly I don’t think we will ever see the likes of him again, from either party. The past few days confirmed that.
I agree on your observation that we will never see his likes again… He was an American.
I miss him too, he was always one of my favorites. Did you happen to notice the US Navy ad on tv? The number 76 aircraft carrier is the USS Ronald Reagan.
No way I could miss that! And if you ever are blessed to visit his library here, bring lits of Kleenex…
